The people that know me would probably all agree that I am not a work out kind of girl… so let’s just say I was more than surprised when I was told to check out a fitness place… oh dear, poor me. So, off I went to see what the big hype was about.

I was quite impressed at the size of the SPRUNGBUDE trampoline center and parking spots were available right outside of the place. The former gym has been remodeled and turned into t a bright, modern exercise facility, with a great layout and lots of room to roam and work out.  The spacious 1700 square meter center offers 6 different exercise areas with over 80 trampolines, dodgeball area and even basketball hoops… impressive, but I was still skeptical, after all me and sport, don’t mix.

I went to check out their programs and surprised to learn that you can do courses in trampoline group work out in their super cool side by side trampoline areas, who knew there was such courses. Of course, you can rent out and book certain areas or courses or even the whole center for office trips, birthday parties or what ever other event you may be planning. Good thing the building is also home to a well-equipped bistro that serves drinks and food and caters to birthday parties when needed. While you can not bring your own food, there really is no need to, the food was tried and approved by me. You are allowed to bring a birthday cake though if you book for a birthday party.

After a much-needed snack I was finally ready to give the whole bouncing thing a try, I put on my mega stylish trampoline socks (yes, yes, I know… yellow isn’t really my color… but the socks are mandatory to wear, for safety reasons), the socks are yours to keep after. I figured I would start slow and headed out to the floor and just started bouncing on one of the many trampolines, oh my I forgot how much fun it was to jump on trampolines!

After a bit I did start to feel a little more courage and while the dodgeball game or basketball area is not my kind of thing I gave the base jump a try and let me tell you, holy moly what a blast! I spend the rest of the afternoon watching a thrilling dodgeball game and the free jumpers. For the more exercise oriented crowds, the center offers the work out courses on Wednesdays.

I finished the day off with a cup of tasty freshly brewed Italian coffee from the bistro and just watching everyone having a blast, what a great place to just let go and power yourself out. Or if you’re a mom that is looking for something fun to do with your kids, this is the place to be!

A big thank you to SPRUNGBUDE for their great set up and the fun time I had checking it out!
