Rooms

Each room has a beautiful view of the countryside, depending on the category either the garden or the valley. Our room had the category "deluxe" overlooking the Natural Pool. The room was modern and had 21 a top design. The large room offered a bed with very good mattresses and a seating area, further a work desk, flat screen TV, safe, large closets and packed wellness bags with slippers and sauna towels. Bath robes are decorated on the bed.

The bathroom is initially open and in harmony with the sleeping area. On request a separate room can be created by dragging a side wall and the sink mirror, so that you can enjoy your privacy! The bathroom itself has two sinks, more storage options, a toilet with a separate lockable area, a large walk-in shower and some hand and bath towels. We did not have such a good night´s-sleep in a long time.

The rooms are opened by means of chip cards and also serve for activating the electricity in the room. These cards are simply inserted into the slot next to the door where there are also the settings for the air conditioning.

Quickly we enjoyed our view of the natural pool on our large balcony before we explored the hotel.

Wellness

We have never seen such a beautiful spa in a hotel! The lower area has a rocky landscape of limestone with showers, sauna, a relaxation room which can bring you into another world, a steam bath with applications and the legendary salt grotto with salt pool. From the lower area, you can also reach the natural pool located in the courtyard. We decided, however, for the outdoor terrace on the other side and enjoyed the view of the valley. There is also the Hunters Sauna. This outdoor sauna allows a beautiful view of the valley.

But now it urged us to see some further highlights. On the next level, there are the beauty center and a private suite which can be booked, some more rest facilities and the infinity pool. We went into the pool inside and swam through the lock out. The water is warm. You can hear birds singing in real 3D surround sound from all sides.

We were excited and impressed. We swam in the pool towards the treetops. The nature reflects in the water. The pool seems endless and merged with the landscape. To our right, we looked over Langenburg while the valley was below us. The view extends hundreds of meters. Massage jets and bubblers pamper the body. True happiness.

In order to get to the third floor, we had to use the elevator. It goes up more than 25 meters! You are then in the hotelR16;s tower. Another floor must be walked up until you are R22;on top". Madness. The Rooftop Pool is awaiting there! In the warm water, the cool wind caresses your nose while you enjoy the kilometer-wide view over the countryside. Deck chairs and lounge furniture invite you to sunbathe and who wants to sweat properly can use the panorama sauna.

Who wants to be sporty can do this in the gym or go on the rooftop for a run. Yes, you read correctly. On the roof, a jogging area has been created and a few fitness equipment are placed separately.

Restaurant

Those who want to dine here can book in advance at discounted prices a 4 course dinner. We enjoyed the lunch snack which is included in the bed and breakfast. In addition to soup, various salads and warm vegetables, there were rolls and two cakes. Plenty, tasty and good quality.

Bar

We end the perfect day in the tower bar. With the elevator it goes back up in the tower. Directly below the tower pool, you can find the bar. With chill out 23 music you can enjoy cocktails at moderate prices. On request, cocktails are made which are not on the menu. Peanuts are served, too. The excellent bartender kept us entertained with his witty banter.

Breakfast

After a good nightR16;s sleep you go for breakfast. Everything you could wish for is prepared. Scrambled eggs and bacon. Rice pudding with cinnamon. Various rolls and bread. Selection of cheese and coldcuts. Salmon with horseradish and various juices. On request, you can also obtain specialty coffees. For lovers of cereals and yoghurt, there is plenty available.

Departure

Before we checked out, we accepted the invitation of the hotel management. Here we got a glass of champagne, are told the history of the hotel, the ulterior motives and get even a small guide and insights into the wine cellar, the private suite and a living room suite. Now it is time to say goodbye. The staff wished us goodbye just as friendly as they received us. One thing is certain, we have not been there for the last time!
