If you are a passionate traveler, or just a weekend trip fan this fair is right up your alley and a must visit, for sure. Hosted by Stuttgart, you have a whole 9 days to check out the craziness, starting January 13th and ending on January 21st, 2018.
The CMT has been, for the last 50 years the place to be when it comes to vacation trends, holiday planning, camping, leisure, traveling and trips. Located at the Stuttgart Messe this convention has grown to be the largest of its kind in the world. Since the CMT is also celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018, plans are, to host the biggest fair ever, adding the new hall 10 into their already huge layout, giving you six halls of vacationing fun.
You may wonder why a vacation fair is hosted in January, when no one is really thinking about vacation. Well, research has shown that most large vacations are booked in January. With over 2000 exhibitors from over 100 different countries and 360 separate regions you really can’t ask for a bigger selection. The Fair is visited by about 240.000 people annually, many of them head out there, specially to check out the new lines of recreational vehicles. This year they will be hosting about 1000 of them.
There will be many exciting things to see and check out, so you want to invest a whole day at the very least. You might be wondering, why a trade fair would be interesting for you, or what it has to offer for you. Let me tell you, this wonderful touristic trade fair offers booths and vendors from many of the touristic regions worldwide, check out city trips, talk to the hosts and see what the city has that may interest you. Check out adventure and active vacation packages, weekend destinations or cruises that take you to exotic places. See what Europe and Germany has in store for you, or look into vacation trips to the far east or down under. If you are a fan of exotic culinary surprises, you won’t be disappointed either, taste your way through faraway lands.
For the man child in you, be sure to check out the many recreational vehicles, do some test runs, or just drool over the newest in Motorhomes and caravans. The biggest manufacturers proudly show off their newest models at the Fair every year and are ready to make some deals. But if you already own a camper, you will be more than happy to know that you can find all the accessories you may need going camping.
But there is more! The fair also covers leisure trips, hobbies and everything you might need for them. Golfers can cheer, there is several exhibitioners showing off their goods. All in all, the fair will make for a great tool to plan your time here in Europe, be sure to take advantage of it. What may be interesting for some of the older kids or spouses, is the career day the fair has on Wednesday January 17th, where companies show off their jobs trainings and possibilities in the traveling and hotel business.
